McGirls on the Run

Our friends talked us into doing our first official run (only a 1K, but we ran the whole way!).  As would be expected of a Searcy Glo Run, it was lots of fun.  We hope to do it again next year--maybe the 5K next time!

Les Mis

Anna and I had a wonderful afternoon with friends watching the Rep's production of Les Mis.  There's just something about a live performance that is so exciting.  We've been singing and playing the music for weeks now.

(Being the demanding homeschool teacher that I am, I made her get Monsieur Hugo's book read before we went.  I, however, am still working on it.)
